Course overview

Fundamentals of Finance introduces the concepts used to evaluate financial decisions in organisations. You will practise calculations and compare financing and investment choices while considering liquidity, risk and return.

What you will study

Finance concepts and sources of finance; time value of money; security valuation; cost of capital; project appraisal; working capital management; risk and return; dividend decisions; introductory Islamic finance concepts.
