How to Join a Live Class and Access Notes on SGI

This guide explains how students can join live classes and access learning notes on the Synapse Global Institute (SGI) platform using any device, including mobile phones, laptops, and desktop computers.

Step 1: Access the SGI Platform

1.     Open your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge).

2.     Visit www.sgi.ac.

3.     Click or tap Login.

Tip: For the best experience, ensure your browser is up to date.

Step 2: Log in Using Your SGI Email

1.     Enter your SGI-assigned email address.

2.     Enter your password.

3.     Complete the security verification if prompted.

4.     Click or tap Log in.

Once logged in successfully, you will be directed to your student account dashboard.

Step 3: Access “My Course”

1.     Select My course from the main menu.

2.     A list of all courses you are enrolled in will be displayed.

Step 4: Start the Course

1.     Locate the course you wish to attend.

2.     Select Start now next to the course title.

3.     The course content page will open.

Step 5: Access Topics, Notes, and Learning Materials

1.     Scroll to the Course Content section.

2.     Select the relevant Topic to expand it.

3.     The topic will display all learning materials, including:

o   Live class sessions

o   Study notes

SGI Learning Model – Core Practice

·       During live classes, notes are shared on the screen by the instructor as a core part of the SGI learning model.

·       Students are expected to follow and scroll through the notes during the live class session.

·       Students are encouraged to use the SGI AI Chat during live classes to seek clarification and reinforce understanding.

·       Live class sessions remain active for two days.
Rescheduling may be arranged upon student request.

Step 6: Join the Live Class

1.     Within the selected topic, select Live Class Presentation.

2.     The live class will open on your device.

3.     If the session is active, you will join immediately.

Step 7: Session Status

·       If the class has already ended, a Session Ended message will be displayed.

·       In such cases, wait for the next scheduled session or contact SGI Student Support.

Important Tips for All Students

·       Use a stable internet connection.

·       Ensure your device is adequately charged or connected to power.

·       Use earphones or a headset for clear audio.

·       Close unnecessary applications to improve performance.

·       Join live classes on time to avoid session expiry.
